About Us
Meet the Tates
Evan and Madison have been together for eleven years and have three children – Tatum, Easton, and Wilder. Perpetual students, their greatest joy is spending time outdoors learning from the land, caring for their livestock, and simply being together. With a firm belief in the lessons of the soil, plants, insects, and animals they deeply desire to be good stewards of their farm and family.
Evan and Madison have worked together their entire married life, and they love to put their dreams into action and lead alongside one another. Evan’s family roots reside in Colorado with a long history of ranching and teaching sustainable agriculture around the world. The agricultural expertise, knowledge, and passion of Evan’s parents, Gene and Gretchen, have been an invaluable resource on Evan and Madison’s farming journey.
Evan’s rich background in agriculture combined with an eye for business sparked his interest in the rising market for CBD. As a nurse with a love for microbiology and chemistry, Madison was excited to explore the impact of CBD on modern medicine. Farming is not for the faint of heart and hemp is a temperamental plant with unique challenges, but for the Tate family, the joys outweigh the trials.
A Note From Evan and Madison
“We’ve put so much love, time, and energy into growing this amazing stuff that we couldn’t bear to see our plant sold off to someone else. We believe in the importance of direct market and want to see our blood, sweat, and tears put straight into the hands of our very own customers. We believe in the amazing benefits of this plant and want to directly be apart of seeing our farmed hemp do its thing!”
We love the process of bringing life back to the soil – to make it a living soil, full of life. Imagine a tablespoon full of healthy biodiverse soil that can contain 1,000,000,000 micro-organisms, all living and working together to provide healthy plants for a healthy product.
